I have no clue, and this is the sort of questions that I don't worry about. now that we are here, we may as well make it worthwhile.
if your dear and fluffy lord happens to have answered that question, feel free to share with us too :P

lets see whether elaeluwa got an answer for us. :)

dont you feel mother nature got a well planned setup ? as an atheist how do you define this setup ? :)

machan, human beings have a tendency to impose meaningfull patterns, designs, and plans into meaningless random phenomena..Much like when we "see" meaningfull faces and shapes in clouds..That is nature of human brain..

i got a question for you too!

how did the universe begin ? :)

what is the beginning point of evolution ? why are we evolving ? :)

lets see whether elaeluwa got an answer for us. :)
There may be a mystery when it comes to topics like "begining". Nonetheless, that does not undermine atheism. Sherlock holmes may not know exactly about the identity of the criminal. However, Holmes can be sure that the little newspaper delivering boy is not the criminal. Similarly, atheists may not know exactly how universe began. But, atheists can be sure that it is not God who was behind the senses.

what if we use the word GOD to address the power behind this unsolved mystery ?

if the answer is NO! suggest me an atheist friendly word.

actually these questions cannot be answered scientifically, like many has stated before, if you got faith in some sort of a religion, those are answered for you.

Oh great! I thought this is a religion free spot for us atheists, and now I see that muslims have invaded this place too.

However the universe began, it was definitely not because some funny old man in the sky wanted it.

But that is not all that atheists refuse. We really don't want the mess of your religions' rules, regulations, rituals and wars and oppression.

So what? machan:D If I am saying that all opinions are false, that means the opinion I just expressed is false as well.:)

I didn't say it because I think his opinion is wrong. I said it because I think his opinion on 'world view' is equal to his opinion on 'nature', so I get his belief in nature as a substitute for God. There's no paradox, just sharing ideas.
