720p HD - Meant for phones with 720p HD screens. All the latest Android phones including the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, HTC Rezound, Sony Xperia S/Ion, and some handsets from LG sport a HD resolution screen.
qHD - Meant for phones with a resolution of 640x969, including the Motorola Droid RAZR, RAZR MAXX, Droid Bionic, HTC Sensation/Sensation XE, Amaze 4G, Vivid and others.
WVGA - This is the most common resolution in the Android eco system right now. If you own an Android phone, which you got last year, there is a high probability that it has a WVGA (480x800) resolution. Nowadays, and going forward, all mid range Android phones will come with a WVGA resolution screen.
