this isn't shocking given that US drafted it only after securing 24 votes in the first place.
I'm glad we got 15 in favor of us, lots of credit to China for lobbying campaigns to gain votes for SL
as for the resolution, nothing will happen but GOSL must go ahead with LLRC at least now. hope this will be an eye-opener.

I wonder what India did, abstained or voted yes?

Ok... now the resolution has been adopted..let me tell you few things that will happen.. as most of our ppl say (who think they are political gurus)..this will urge sri lanka to go ahead with LLRC recommendations...in fact it's only 1 of the things in the resolution..we will have to carry out the recommendations...BUT THEY WILL BE HERE TO MONITOR IT!!!!..It's just ONE!!!....Ther are more to follow...!!!
