There is a something called a "de-facto" statements in any religion as well as practices !
For example.. why do they have Kovil's inside the temples? .. surely the Buddhist philosophy doesn't dictate on worshiping of being blessed by idols right ?
But... with time..such things were naturally integrated into the "so called" religion and now it's main stream !
I believe, even Buddhism was only written down about 2000 years later of the Buddha's passing away... so during that time many of such 'de-facto' statements, practices and rules have been added to.... making some simply 'de-facto' rules and practices. (as exampled above)
So., couldn't the whole foreskin thing can be such a statement of that sort?
We know that almost all the main stream religions have ignited or started from the middle eastern and Indian belt of Asia... which reflects many of it's core values which it's built on depending the area of it's origin.

First, it wasn't 2000 years after lord Buddha. Thripitaka was written 600 to 700 years after passing away of lord buddha. Time of king Walagambha.

Only first three minutes I watched and stopped as i saw almost all quran versus quoted out of context to please the people like you.
