A conversation between an immortal man and his current colleagues at the University about history and life through his eyes. Christians might not like this movie but keep in mind this is just another unique perspective. :)

    Possible trilogy

On the director's commentary, Bruce Evans said that the film was to be the first of a trilogy, but as with any franchise it depended on the film's profits. Despite its commercial success, there are no plans to make further films. Speaking in April 2009, Panabaker said, "Everybody wanted to make a trilogy. I saw Kevin [Costner] last summer and we still would love to. The idea of my character and Kevin's character, it'd be so much fun. I think you got to see how manipulative they both are, with each other. I would have loved to have done three."

It was cute, I guess, It's visually pleasing so I'm not complaining.

Mostly I'm confused about this one. It has a polarising effect on you, you either like it or hate it. Me? well, at one time, I thought it was genius. Then the next time I thought this was the most rubbish ever. So yeah, there's that. Maybe it's both, maybe it's neither. However this movie pushes you to question your own morality. I liked that.
If you liked 'On the Road' you'll be interested in this film.

My initial reaction to this movie was 'how ignorant these american tourists are to the native Japanese?' While I was enraged by it I could not enjoy this, at all. However after a while I got bored being furious. So this began to look interesting. In the end I understood it was the point in it's own twisted way. Some loses every time it translates, even when thoughts turns to words!
