Internet slowness - SMW4 Cable Damaged

As reported by the SMW4 NOC, there has been severe damage in the SMW4 cable under sea cable lines. The approximate location of the damage is identified as 4665km from Mumbai towards Jeddah. No date of recovery announced yet.

Sri Lanka may experience Internet slowdown these days. A total of 5Gbps bandwidth have been dropped due to this.

When you test to India, you want feel the slowness. Its beyond India. Test to Europe and see the difference. But, I have fairly consistent SLT & Hutch service.
