I have 2TB hard drives and 1 500GB hard disk. 2 of 2tbs and the 500GB hdd got copying/reading issues. All of them are like one and half years old. one of my buddies said that older power supplies don't have the capability to supply enough power for hard drives larger than 160GB so according to his hardware knowledge it's the reason behind these hard disks failures. He told me to buy a new PSU that have extra orange wires among other wires of sata power supply jack. picture of my current psu is attached.
