Jan 12, Colombo: New York: The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has spoken on the phone with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and discussed the President's 100-day plan.
The Spokesperson of the Secretary-General said Mr. Ban spoke on the phone with President Sirisena and congratulated him on his election and the successful conclusion of the presidential election.
The Secretary-General and President Sirisena discussed the President's 100-day plan and Sri Lanka�s post-war agenda, the Spokesperson said at the press briefing on Monday.
"The Secretary-General affirmed continuous support by the UN to Sri Lanka," he said.
