Apple launched its iMac with Retina 5K display last fall, and it’s the sharpest computer the company has ever sold to consumers. But that may soon change, at least according to a statement made by LG recently.

9to5Mac recently noticed that an LG release published last week has a clear statement made by LG pointing to a new 8K display from Apple. “Apple has also announced that they will release the ‘iMac 8K’ with a super-high resolution display later this year,” LG said in the document, which refers to 8K ultra high-definition broadcasts in Japan and Korea. Apple hasn’t actually announced anything along those lines.

I saw a 4k TV (not 8k) on display. The image quality is unbelievable.

resolution is not the important thing ,it's the pixel density per inch. :)
if a display has 400ppi or above it's more than enough, I would say 300ppi is quite enough for saying unbelievable.
