GETTING A CAR AND A LEASE/LOAN

    Hi Guys,

    Planning on getting a car for around 16-18 lacks,
    Planning to pay 4 Lacks and others lease or loan.

    What do you think is best ? LOAN OR LEASE ?
    And whats the best place to get them ?

    Also suggestion on cars for the range are helpful for the experienced ,will be looking for a automatic transmission

    Loan is better. You have to talk with banks and arrange a deal.
    It totally depends on the deal you talk with the bank manager.

    If you are planing to get a personal or professional loan the rate is around 11.5-12% now.
    Commercial and NDB offers 11.5% (for IESL members, Commercial offers a rate of 11%)
    Sampath is offering a rate of 12%

    All the above rates are for fixed rate loans. Don't know anything about the government banks or HNB.
    However, there's a rumor that loan rates are about to increase in near future. If you are planing for a loan, better do it early.

    floating - 10%

    NDB, Commercial සහ Sampath බැංකු ටික තමයි මම නම් බැලුවේ. ඔය බැංකු ටිකේ ලෝන් එක ප්‍රොසෙස් කරගන්න ලේසියි කියන හින්දා. :cool:
    හැබැයි අනිත් බැංකු වලත් බලලා ඉන්න. සමහරවිට මීට වඩා අඩු rate අහුවෙයි. හදිස්සියක් නැත්නම් ප්‍රොසෙස් වෙන්න පොඩ්ඩක් පරක්කු වුණා කියලා ප්‍රශ්නයක් නෑනේ.

    For 4 lacks better go for a personal loan (not a car loan or lease)
    Then you dont need to keep car book or change absolute owner to bank..
    You can sell car at anytime

    BOC professional loans also not difficult to get approved.BOC professional loan rates are comparatively low as I know.
