sorry machan.....I do not live in SL
But you can use normal copper cables and nuts and bolts.

In SL people use Yagi arrays which are directional antennas. This will pick up signals from front and behind.............

I have only tried with copper wire. I suggest you to use the same as well......But in the video they mention about court hangers. I believe you could use aluminum tubing.......

I really do not know the situation in SL.
But works perfectly with digital channel in North America.
