The best time to send money from abroad is on a Sunday when Sri Lankan Rupees is at lowest. The second best time is Saturday. Because Central Banks is closed so rate starts to drop.

Weekdays is the best time to buy Foreign currency with Sri Lankan Rupees.

The Rupee is known to have it's rate set by the previous business date, which is on Friday, so if the rupee is 140, then it will be 140, it won't change till the next session.
