1. Bargaining power of Suppliers : Like raw material suppliers (clothes) can be affecting force concerning the quality, prices etc...
2. Bargaining Power of customer : MAS mainly produce clothing for brands like Nike & therefore Nike has higher bargaining power towards MAS in terms of prices & quality.. Maintaining quality standards according to the brand. Also these brand can manufacture in alternative country & loss of such customer making a huge impact to the company's revenue streams etc...
3. Threats of new Entrants : There can be new entrance of well known clothing manufacturer entering to Sri Lanka due to the low level of rules & regulations & where higher competence acquired than MAS in manufacturing clothing..
4. Threat of Substitutes : A very less as the clothing is a essential need in the respected industries such as Swimming, Running etc..
5. Rival within the Industry : The exisiting manufacturers like brandix, Next can acquire the contracts of MAS major customers & also being able toproduce better quality innovative than MAS current.
02. Environmental analysis can be done using PEST analysis
1. Political Environment : Current government policy is to upheld the exporting industry a favorable factor for MAS. Also rules & regulations on employment (Saturday & sunday must holiday / workfree) like that can affect to the company in negative manner.
2. Economical environment : MAS is mainly exporting their products to Europe USA based countries & as a result of currency deprecpreciation (rupee depreciation) the buyer has to pay lesser USD amount & competitive position will be higher to the company. Also removal of taxes such as Super Gain taxes is a favorable movement for the company..
3. Social Environment : Demography factors, changes in buyers patterns (spending on luxury products) etc.. changes in the favorable way to the MAS
4. Technological Environment : Improvements in Technology & manufactuing techniques like Kaizen, Six Sigma may affect to the co: in terms of reducing costs, increasing quality in a favorable way
Ecological environment : consideration of environment, Greener products in the Europe & USA are high & attitudes about the child labor is higher in the respected socieities. As a result MAS must adopt the certain regulation & reduce the imapct to the environment in order to win their customers.

Implemetation of quality assurance, Maintaining higher quality standards in manufacturing, proper treatment for employees, consideration of the reducing environmental impact etc.. can be mainly objectives to achieve in short term or medium term aligning with their corporate Vision. These are matched with comapnies strength as comapny already in the Europe based market & value for their products can be higher ie higher sales (higher production quota).
