My advice is do not look only for seniority. Check whether they refer non relavant issues to others. Look for doctors below 50 years as they are usually updated with latest techniques.

I respect, Drs Ananda, Narendra, Wasantha but it's my thought.

Doctors hierarchy does not allow reverse mentoring like in technical fields. They always say my sir said so. But I feel otherwise but cannot tell him.

Thanks for the advice machan. Can any of you recommend a good doctor please? I need one who will just admit the patient to the general hospital without showing them the private hospitals if necessary. And I need someone who is well experienced enough to analyse a serious condition, not a new doctor.

Try to get an appointment for doctor Pinto in Colombo or if you are in kandy, there is another good doctor there. There are patients going to him from Colombo

Can you please tell me his name? It's easier in Colombo but as I'm going to Kandy I can consult a doctor there too.
