Why discuss ing this matter categories as trolling.. if public raise this issue before it might change the circumstances. in 90s people knew this yet people like you shut them up and hand the decision makers to do it. kosgama camp were built in years ago,(30 years something which i am not not sure 100 %) however those days that area like a jungle, most of the people moved near to camp side and near lands with by the social development. then what about the pamankada army camp how many houses and civil buildings were near to camp? also its a warehouse and including militray a training school. are those buildings and houses build were 2 or 3 Km away?
kosgama situation is completely different even so far government unable to provide a proper statement to the public regarding ether is it a natural fire or somebody trying to burn it down or what??

I'm not saying defeating LTTE is bad. I'm saying like this explosion that 30 years bloody war could have avoided. look at the status of the country now. Whats our GDP?? What was it before war?? First of all there is a difference between war and accident. it is not same. Again most of the camps in north are not armories. they do not store ammunition likes of Saalawa. any army camp has a certain risk. but not in the same level as a armory.
There are army camps in south too. only difference is the number of camps per sqkm might be higher in north. but why are they there? they can be removed easily if the extremist Tamils (not regular ones) gave up the desire for separate country. as long as the separatism is there, camps will be there. they are the two sides of the same coin. one cannot be eradicated while other is there.
