වහනයක් ගද්දි අතේ තියෙන ගානට ගන්න පුළුවන් safe ම වාහන මොකක්ක්ද? ඔන්න ඕක තමයි වැදගත්ම ප්‍රශ්නය . හැමෝම ජපන් හොදයි යුරෝ හොඳයි හැබැයි ඉන්දියන් ජරාව කියනවා.
ලංකාවේ බහුතරය වාහන කියල කරන්නේ ආයෝජනයක්. නැත්නම් සමහරු ජීවත්වෙන්නේ buying and selling වලින්. ඉතින් කවුරුත් තමන් ගාව තියෙන වාහනයේ අඩු පාඩු කියන්නෑ,මාර්කෙට් බහී කියල

හැබැයි එක හරියටම දැනගන්න ක්‍රමේ හැමෝටම ෆ්‍රී බලාගන්න පුළුවන් . ඒ තමයි EURO NCAP රේටින් එක.
හැමෝම හොඳයි කියන ජපන් ටොයෝටා corolla වාහනයේ Euro NCAP රේටින්ග් මෙන්න.

මතක තියාගන්න මේක යුරෝප් වලට ගහන බෙස්ට් කොලිට්ය් export version එකට දීපු rating එක.ඒකනිසා පාවිච්චිකරලා ගෙනාපු ජපන් වාහන ගැන තත්වය මීට වඩා පැහැදිලිවම අඩුයි.

praskruz කියන කතාවේ යම් දුරකට අත්තක් තියනවා. අපි පරණ ජපන් වාහන ගන්නේ Air bag, ABS තියන නිසානේ. නමුත් කොහොමද ඔය Air Bag එක වැඩ කරන තත්වේ තියනවද කියල බලන්නේ? හප්පලා බලන්නද, පත්තු වෙනවා කියල?. දැන් කියයි indicator තියනවා කියල. නමුත්. indicator එක වැඩ කරන්නෙත් යම් sensor reading එකක් මත. සෙන්සර් එක කෙලවෙලා false data නම් එන්නේ අපිට දාන ගන්න ක්‍රමයක් නෑ.ABS උනත් එච්චරයි.


ඉන්දියන් වාහන වලට වැඩ structural integrity එක නම් පරණ උනත් ජපන් වහනෙක හොඳයි, මොකද ඒවා හදන්නේ හරියට ගණන් මිනුම් බලල.(මේක වලිඩ් වෙන්නේ structural integrity එක කෙළවෙන විදියට පිල නැති හෝ, කවදාවත් පිල නැති ඒවාට විතරයි.)

structural Integrity එක කෙල උනාට පස්සේ පරණ ජපන් එකයි අලුත් ඇල්ටෝ එකෙයි වෙනසක් නෑ. හපුනම දෙකම ඇතුලේ උන් එක්ක පපඩම්

3. low maintenance cost

4. less faulty

5. best second market

Japanese cars in the market for less than 20, how come the 90% of the taxi/cab industry is run by Indian vehicles

1. Cars are small (relatively) and easy to drive.
2. Can purchase with full lease
3. They have to run like hell. The maintenance has to be cheap (fuel filters / air filters / oil used).
4. And most importantly has to be cheap as f**k. If not how do you give a cheap service if the vehicle has a huge lease payment.

So things like that machan. It has nothing to do with security or safety. It's what they could afford.

But that's how I feel.

Yeah. The cabbie next door (retired army for certain) earns about 150k a month on his Alto.

AMW has advertised in today's Sinhala papers a fantastic trade-in offer for ALTO owners. Depending on the condition of the car, AMW will offer up to 1.8 million Rupees which I find is very reasonable. The rest can be leased and the monthly installment is Rs. 4800/= upwards.
