Wonder Woman
Watched this yesterday at the MC Platinum hall. The hall is bad but the movie is great! With the meh movie that was BvS and the drizzling shit that was Suicide Squad, DC finally has a fucking awesome movie that can rival any that Marvel/Fox has put out recently. While this has a different tone, it can even rival Nolan's Batman Trilogy, Logan, Winter Soldier or Civil War.
Gal Gaddot of cause nailed the Role of Wonder woman and Chris Pine was great as Steve Trevor. Their on screen chemistry was excellent and they made a ballsy move in killing off Steve Trevor.
I's especially glad that they didnt try to make the whole movie about the gender inequality and had the focus on Diana becoming a hero.
I loved the whole ice cream scene. Glad they put it in there even though its from the new 52 comics and not from the golden or even silver age WW.
Which was also referenced in JL : War
The directing and story telling was excellent. The humor was intelligently done and even exposition scenes were well handled.
Though I preferred the origin story set in the Animated Wonder Woman movie where Hera is the god who helps and therefore worshiped by the amazons instead of Zeus, its a minor nitpic.
The main issue with the movie is ofcause the under developed villain but this is to be expected when the main focus is origins of the hero.
There's going to be a Wonder Woman 2, where hopefully the villain will be better developed since the origins of WW has now been established.
All in all, this is a Grade A movie.
