Seems Sira has given frequency of Chanal 54 in 700 MHz band to Sirasa without publicly auctioning. Canage was trying to get the same frequency for the Google loon Project and if Auctioned Google would have out bid Sirasa easily and got it. In other terms, This is one of the prime frequency that digital divide will release for Broad Band Service to meet future demand.

This seems to be the tussle.

Yes, all developed countries are releasing it from TV broadcasting to BB services after digitalisation of TV from current Analogue systems. If true why this frequency is given back to analog TV is the question.

I do not have any trust on this guy too.

700Mhz was given to Maharaja by Hitan without public auction which caused 3 Billion loss to government. When Muhunthan questioned about it, hitan has asked him to resign.
