The American Center in Colombo has been closed as the US Government shut down for the second time this year. The US Embassy in Colombo said that scheduled passport and visa services at the US Embassy will continue during the lapse in appropriations as the situation permits.
“The American Center in Colombo is closed until further notice,” the Embassy said.
