Who would in the right mind tell you all the problems while visiting once a year

Generally people who migrated in the 90's are well off...but yes! you got a point there.
If you have a stable income in SL now, no point migrating.

If there were problems he would tell. He never thinks of coming back to SL. There are more people living and never come back it seems. They just visit and return back.

yes exactly...90s and 80s are better off becuase they are now second generation and 3 rd generation in australia. actually they have no contact with sri lanka except coming once a year or 5 years to visit some relative. Even the way they talk and act is not like sri lankan( it is ok with me) but by looking at them we must not think that we can have a life like them

These sri lankans will not talk with you unless they know who you are and your education level is ...some of them have not studied much but have good lives becuase they were born there.( Karma)
once i was in the bus and reading in ipad......i normally take the corner seat. A sri lankan girl got in and was talking in sinhalese about how hard it is for her and what she is doing she thought i was indian but she saw that I was reading lankadeepa.lk in my Ipad she immediately went to another seat...... that is the mentality of sri lankans.. So my dear dont think that your aunty and uncle are having a very good life just because they are not talking about it

I came to New Zealand 2 weeks a go (Student visa) so far so good. According to their current law, I can apply for work permit at the end of my course (after one year one year) and in 3 years I can apply for PR. So for my knowladge, much better than Ausi...
