Nowhere near as good as the first one. Actually, this one is pretty bad. Characters go hot and cold almost line to line. however, the distribution method of this movie is commendable and I will contribute to that in order to promote this method of movie financing.

Watched a whole bunch of movies over the weekend..

    While the City Sleeps
    220px-WhileCitySleepsPoster.jpg

A Fritz Lang crime thriller that handles several different story lines masterfully.

    Shock Corridor
    Shock_Corridor_-juliste.jpg

Another thriller from the 60s, this one has a journalist going undercover as a mental patient into a mental hospital to uncover a murder mystery.

    Beyond a Reasonable Doubt
    Beyond_a_Reasonable_Doubt_movie_poster.jpg

Another Fritz Lang Film Noir classic, this one follows a media magnet's attempt to discredit the legal system over capital punishment.

    Dead Reckoning
    b70-1792

Another Humphrey Bogart thriller. Seems he was getting typecast as the hard boiled PI as this followed the same formula except, this time he's an army intelligence captain returning from the war.

    Locked Up
    Locked-Up-2017-12404-cover

This was a waste of time and download quota. Asylum rubbish all around.

    Scorched Earth
    7933c043368b86b2dab155a28697285a

Watch this only if you're a Gina Carano fan. This did have a surprise appearance by John Hannah.

Guess Karl Urban and Andy Garcia really needed the money..

After Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, this is the second best video game movie I've seen to date. Glad that they took this approach since trying to redo or even match the original would be a lost cause from the get go.
Loved how they portrayed NPCs, One dimensional villains as well as characters. Fun movie which I enjoyed a a lot.

    Pan's Labyrinth
    pans-labyrinth-quad.jpg

Del Toro's world building and story telling ability is displayed so masterfully in this rated R fantasy story. Dont for one second imagine that just because the story's main character is a little girl, that this is a kids movie or even suitable for kids, cause you'll have some serious explaining to do if you show this to young children.
The movie is very dark with violence, gore and child murder to boot but its at its core, its based on real fairy/folk tales instead of the watered down disney versions.
    In short, a masterpiece.
