මචං අපි වෙන රටකට Travel කරන්න යද්දි අපිට යන Budjet එකයි Traveling Agencies වලින් කියන ගානයි අතර ලොකු වෙනසක් තියෙන්නේ කොහොම ද?

Ex: අද මම දැක්කා බුකියේ එක්තරා traveling agency එකක් දාලා තියනවා Bali (Indonesia) වලට LKR 53,500/= upw per person කියලා (Air ticket (both way) + 3 night accomadtion in 3 stars hotel)....

නමුත් Denpasar වලට up and down ticket එකම වෙනවා LKR 50,000/=-55,000/= අතර ගානක්.

දන්න කෙනෙක් මේ ගැන පැහැදිලි කරනව ද...

Most of the time these packages organized by an airline and hotels combined, during off peak season. Hotels not lowering their room prices to general public, airlines also the same, even they have vacant rooms/seats. But they both wants to fill their seats and rooms, even below cost prices. Then they usually organize a third party travel agent to take care of these packages.
When an air ticket alone cost $1200 from Melbourne to Colombo(off peak), there are 2 week sri lanka holiday packages available for $900, including accommodation and breakfast . There are no losses to airline. They may sell the tickets at below cost price, but it's still better than nothing. Hotels also the same. If a star class hotel advertised their room tariffs at half price, it's not good for their reputation. But they are more than happy to do it through these packages rather than having 10% occupancy.
I am not sure how genuine is the offer you have seen, because there are lots of fraudulent things in our country, so be aware.
