    Hi Machanzzla....

    I'm planning to do MSc In IT, කොහෙද කරන්න හොද?

    future mind exhibition 1ta ගියවෙල්ලේ ICBT 1කේ MSc 1ක් නම් සෙට් උන :dull:... කරපු කට්ටිය ඉන්නවද? එක හොදද?

    Colombo Uni 1කේ කලොත් හොදයි කියලත් කියනව කට්ටිය....

    කරන.. කරපු... කට්ටිය ඉන්නවා නම පොඩි sup 1ක් දෙන්ට :dull:...

    I think I'm already too late! uni 1n out වෙලත් now almost 4 years :baffled: ...

    Machan, That really depends on your related area.

    Try to go for MSc @ CSE, Moratuwa . Its hard to get selected and need to work hard really. but its possible. the content is great and you can really learn the related stuff. Other hand reputation in high and for jobs, following same will be considered as a qualification.

    Msc in Cs @ Colombo is also with a good reputation and quality.

    Obviously if you are looking for a qualification or considering migration, others might be great , but if you really want to get in to it, go for Moratuwa or Colombo (Others may also have good content & quality, Im not offensive here. just what I know).

    Even SLIIT has a MSc programme, but I dont know much about it.

    If you want to be in IT, Im not much aware on that area as well.

    If you're hoping to migrate in the future, it's best to go for a private MSc in ACBT, ICBT, SLIIT, APIIT etc etc, because there's a high chance that you'll be considered to offer a migration visa such as a PR in a good country, if you hold a foreign degree, in this case your MSc .. But, If you don't have an intention to migrate or if you're pretty sure about that you won't change your mind set of staying in Sri Lanka, go for a government university for the MSc .. but, as you climb up the qualification ladder it's best to have a foreign qualification than a Sri Lankan qualification as there's no enough quality teaching available in SL ... for degrees it's best to go for SL degrees than private stuff. But when it comes to postgraduate stuff, nothing can beat the foreign university education. I got my degree a very long time ago from a SL university. So, I know the situation better than anyone else ...
