I need some information about newly registering a vehicle at DMT.

    1. Do i have to show the vehicle to an inspector/examiner there?? the DMT site says that i have to get a certificate from them.. if i have to show it, is it at Narahenpita or Weerahara??

    2. The photo size is mentioned as 2 inch x 2.5 inch, that's pretty big size, but i have seen people submitting small sizes like visa size. please explain.

    3. can the photos be certified by a JP instead of Grama Sewaka??

    4. does the person has to go to DMT personally for the registration or can someone else can do this and pick the CR as well??

any advice on this is highly appreciated..

if anyone else has other questions please post on this...

if you have a europe, thai, ausi vehicle, should have to inspect them with weight purpose, and registered as NEW.
If Japan vehicle no need, also Europe vehicle you can register as recondition without inspect.

    Passport size OK
