May be the way of people trying to explain the merits she had,like she could lift 5 elephants with two fingers,that's how strong she was in her merits? Mayy be she could acctually lift?We have no way to conclude the merits of giving meal to a buddha.Those merits should be extraordinary and the people who lived back then are not from ordinary mertis,most of them have cultivated merits for many life times to born in times of buddha.It is not good to logically compare these people with the people of today.
