Demand an end to police abusing the privacy of citizens in Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan Police officers all over the country are checking random, innocent, citizens' smart phones. They are checking everything - messages, call logs, photos, videos, etc...

We are made to feel very insecure about our privacy by this uncivilized act.

Can anyone check another's mobile phone against their will? Where are our human rights? Don't Police respect fellow citizens' privacy?

This is a huge threat to all of Sri Lankans regarding their personal life. We demand this to be stopped ASAP.
