I think Ben Affleck was the best actor for the Batman character but scripts/stories of BvS & Justice League were crap.
That's why they failed, not because of Ben.

Some people want exactly what's in the comic books in the movie as well. (most comic book readers in this)
But some people don't care whether it's comic accurate but expect character/actor is playing good in that particular movie. (most non comic readers in this)

I personally don't read comic books and don't worry much about whether certain actor is comic book accurate.
And in my opinion, if film superhero actors also must have to be exactly like their comic book characters, then what is the point of making a film at all, all can keep read comic books.
Director of the Film should have the freedom to select the best actor for the story he wants to tell whether it's comic accurate or not.

I think ben looked really badass as batman than bale but Ben had to work with really bad stories (JL,BvS,Suicide Squad) that's why those movies suck. Bale had really good stories and that's why they succeeded. If Ben also had such great scripts, he would have done a better job than Bale.

The moment when Bat getting in to the container which has kryptonite in his dream, gave me chills down the spine. His head almost touching the roof of the container, such a big presence, charisma.:love:

I didn't feel that when I watched the dark knight trilogy. Batman should make terror in anyone who sees him, that's one reason why bruce select Bat as his mark in the first place. Even though I didn't enjoy BvS or JL, I felt that terror in Ben's batman but not in Bale's batman.

Bale's Batman is someone we could believe in whereas Afleck's one is more closer to being the best live action Batman. And as i think dude pulled off a great "Bruce Wayne" than that of Bale's. Anyway Afleck himself told that he's done with caped crusader and wished to move on. It's shame considering the fact that dude had some great ideas for Batman's future in DCEU. There's a rumor that Robert Pattinson is roped to play the role and just today I read somewhere that Armie Hammer is in final talks with WB for the role but turns out it was not true. So, it seems like at this moment, it's not clear who's gonna play the iconic role.

Bale was a terrible Batman in my opinion. Batman is supposed to look intimidating. Not look like some dork cosplaying Batman. Just that his movies were better written than Ben Affleck's
