you mean the AVX + 8" SCT bundle? thats a nice setup for observation and planetary AP but may not ideal for DSO AP though. you will need a field flattener+focal reducer and OAG kit (off axis guiding). separate guide scopes may not work well due to the long focal lengths. hope you already did your research on scope and stuff before selecting.


i had an AVX with a 8" F4 GSO astrograph. now i have an EQ6-R pro with a 10" Orion F4 astrograph (thopita koinda mewa), i have modded my nikon D5300 for AP ( full spectrum mod)


AFAIK there are only 4-5 people doing serious AP in SL so its great to see more people getting in to it. gook luck ponz.
