    This is our current law (from colonial era ) ..

    Section 399
    This section criminalized gender impersonation and is often used against transgendered people. It can used in situations where a person has converted to another gender yet bears a different gender on their documentation.

    Okay, my view on this is, the government should give you the right to define your gender anyway you see fit.

    But the government should not force others to accept your gender transition. So if I choose to believe in the XY sex determination system instead of your personal preference I should be allowed to do so.

    :lol::lol: I choose to believe presidential secretariat belongs to me despite the legal definitions and the deeds. Instead of Law I should be allowed continue to believe presidential secretariat belongs to me.

    How about the XXY people ? :P

    I think common decency is better than a chromosome count.

    Do you also think adopting a child should be illegal (or gvt should not force others to accept that adopted children as a part of their family) because there is no biological relationship between parents and child ? what kinda idiot argument is this ?

    Adoption does not work like that; you adopt a child because you want him/her to be a part of your family.

    What I think is that the government should not hold anyone at gunpoint and force them to accept something they don't want to.

    Just like the government shouldn't force Buddhism on Muslims living in Sri Lanka.

    So if I don't want to accept a female who has gender dysmorphia a male just because she wants me to, the government should not force me to do so.
