To be honest this has a shitty cam quality. Even the Samsung phone I had in 2007 had a better camera quality than this. It couldn't be just because of just compression and down sampling. Almost everybody do that.

Why didn't you check the Sony camera used by Harald. He said it was just $350. It had a great camera quality. May be you still need to correct your camera settings to work it better. I honestly think you'd have gone for a better camera for this price. Anyway good luck!

Dude its 100% the downsampling- think I missed a few settings to make it look good- the original footage is fantastic.
