    Machans,

I got a very good idea and it has not yet been implemented anywhere in the world.

My question is how can I find an investor for this and not have my idea stolen?:eek::eek:

    Thanks

Well, as far as I know, finding angel investor through connections would be more reliable! Coz, convincing someone who has no clue about you could be troublesome!

Anyway, to safeguard your ideas, you can have an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) signed between you and your investors or any other related parties. So, even in a case that investors are not interested in your ideas, both parties are protected in terms of violating intellectual property rights.

If you go with an NDA, it is advisable to get some lawyer's support!

Try Venture Frontier Lanka, Lanka Angel Network, seeding alpha or even some business people invest in private equities.

PS: You can't prevent your idea get stolen even if you don't pitch it to anyone because people with same mindsets get same type of ideas. :)

    Good Luck!

Having consulted many startups in seed/pre-seed financing including some top-notch silicon valley projects and having worked with many angel investors, I can tell you without any doubt that ideas are worth almost nothing unless executed. No investor would invest in ideas unless you are a superstar serial entrepreneur with a brilliant record of startups or else you own a crucial patent or such legal right so that no one else can enter the market. The chances that a potential investor stealing your idea is extremely low. You should try to bootstrap your idea and get to the prototype or MVP level if at all you are to get the attention of an angel investor.

What do you suppose to give them in return if your business becomes successful?
