An Analysis - Evidence SARS-CoV-2 Emerged From a Biological Laboratory in Wuhan, China

The goal of this document is to examine evidence that may prove that (1) the SARS-CoV-2 virus was present at a biolaboratory in Wuhan, China, and (2) the SARS-CoV-2 virus was introduced into the greater Wuhan population by an infected lab worker or animal. These claims from this point on will be referred to as Claim 1 and Claim 2.

This document does not attempt to provide a concrete conclusion on whether either claim is factually true. Rather, it examines the probability that each claim is true to allow the reader to make his or her own conclusions.

This is an in depth analysis, appears to be well presented and examines the facts and the papers presented. I haven't had the time to read it in full.

How can someone prove that a virus is man made or natural?

Difficult. There are known Gene editing technology platforms. One of such is CRISPR. You can use certain enzymes like a scissor to cut DNA strands. These can leave out certain signatures. Currently there are special teams in the US developing techniques to create a biosecurity tool that can detect engineered DNA.

Exactly. Before claiming this is a Chinese made virus one should prove it is human made.

We should ignore anonymous groups publishing information like this. This is more like "Moon landing conspiracy theory". If NASA didn't land on the moon then the Russians should have been the first to disprove American claim.

Similarly if this is a Chinese government conspiracy then Americans and other western powers should be the ones questioning the origin of the virus and link it to Chinese. Of course they blame the Chinese for not containing the situation.

Anyone has the right to blame. This group has presented a case. They are not accusing anyone, at least yet. One day hopefully, the truth will be out. There are many suspicions, including those which are not listed on this site. But they all lack proof. That's the problem.
