- I'd like to add some important notes before starting the installation process. As of v17 release of QuickBooks, Intuit checks user info if internet is on while installation and even if you use correct reg infos, it prompts you to log in with your purchase account. So disable internet connection completely, plus have a firewall blocking QuickBooks from calling home while using it!
- Disable internet.
- Unpack and start installer.
- Use the following as serial number:
6666-6666-6666-005
- Use the following as product code:
629-727
- Proceed with the installation.
- Because you're disabled from internet, it won't be able check your account.
- After install done, choose Open QuickBooks option. Let it open it.
- Now you will end up with an activation dialog that list internet activation options, just close the dialog, we won't be using any of them. As soon as you close the dialog, you will be seeing "Validation code" there.
- Use the following as Validation code:
818164
- And complete activation. If you go online or let QB call home while doing this process or in the next use, it will try to prompt you to login with your purchase account, keep that in mind.
