Luggage Safety Store at Kandy Station?

Hi Guys!

As we're planing to visit Kandy soon, we want to know whether there is a safety store at the station. Becuase, we have a reserved a hotel there. And if we travel early in the morning, we can cover some locations before checking in to the hotel after the noon.

So, for that few hours, we need somewhere we can leave our travel bag.

When I googled earlier, I came across the following thread on the "TripAdvisor". If this service still exists at the "Kandy station" it will be very convenient for us since it's there which is our destination.

Hi!

We planned to stay @ "Amaya Hills" bro. There are more than 6Km from the station.

I could call the "Kandy station" today. They said that we can leave our bags there. Charges would be about 50 per hour. I guess this is the most convenient way for us. Our plan is to cover some location till we can check-in to the hotel around 12 - 2 pm.

That's good inforrmation machang.

Anyway, I called "Amaya Hills" and made arrangements to check-in early as @ 10 in the morning. Since hotels are not very crowded and busy these days, they said we can check-in at that time, if we want. So no worries.
