This is my last comment And I respect your right to believe what you want to believe.
This was an unfortunate incident and the worst possible outcome. I wish it ended differently.
And my comment below has nothing to do with this incident, but rather about the point you try to raise here.
Don't learn about what's going on in the US from mainstream media like CNN or highly left-biased social platforms like Twitter. I have seen the situation in the US firsthand.
Black Americans and Latinos were dealt with a bad hand over the years. Hence, statistically, they are less educated. They have less access to high-income jobs. In return, they are prone to violence at a higher rate than other races.
I don't endorse judging someone based on their race. But the mainstream media, especially over the last few years, intentionally ignore the overall picture and highlight few exceptional cases to completely distort the reality and create political opportunities out of it. Whites do die at police gunfire. But it's not newsworthy. Blacks harass east-Asians in the streets, but that's not newsworthy. Because they don't fit the left agenda which was pushed pretty harshly over the last few years.
If you want to keep emotions out of it, and want to assess it factually, have a look at crime statistics. Black Americans. who is about 12% of the population contributes to about 1/3rd of the violent crimes. The sad thing is in most of the time, at the receiving end of these violent crimes, is also a black american.
