New prehistoric human unknown to science discovered in Israel

Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University researchers found remains of a new type of ‘Homo’ who lived in the region some 130,000 years ago. Researchers believe the new “Homo” species intermarried with Homo sapiens and was an ancestor of the Neanderthals.

The past does matter... It;s where we learn to avoid some mistakes. You don't fall in the same pit twice. The past history... You need not dwell in it. Just like our Ravana brigade. But the origins of human life is of scientific interest to many.
