I yet to find a real actor in Sri Lanka. Those who happen to "act" in soap operas has very basic skills compared to actors in Russia, China and US et al.
On top of that, those Soap operas are full of crap like the Indian ones. They lack logic and an authentic story line. Full of songs and bullshit hype.
To me, most of people here doing this as a Day Job.
Quantity over Quality.
The section "New Artist or Actor" should be renamed as "New Promising Artist or Promising Actor"
As for India, Sharuk Khan is not an actor. He admitted this fact when asked why not doing Hollywood films. The reason is because he never done an authentic film rather dancing or moving his two hands. He is afraid of entering into real authentic world.
So our hyped ladies like Shanudrie and Nayanthra nowhere near to the level of Russia, China and US actors. They are basic, that's it.
Just message Shanudrie, Nayanthra even Varuni Fernando about this. You will be jailed. They don't accept constructive criticism.
