Do you think Sri Lanka & Maldives should have a ferry Service between Male' and Colombo ?

India recently started a cargo ferry service from Male to Tuticorin which runs twice a month or so. You say it's 766kms. The most fast passenger ferries in the world today might do around 50 knots.
Assuming a typical standard ferry will do a bit more than 30 knots, the total sailing time only will be around 11 hours or so.

Frm Galle to Male it’s around 400 nautical miles, de urban stories in places like Matara n Galle says tht fishermen frm those areas went “dupath malu allana” to Maldives Attols in 50’s to 70’s n sme fishermen settle on those island by marrying local chicks
