i wouldnt suggest lands, or real estate, in a bankcrupt country, if things get worse, you need to find ways to leave, but still better than other investments such as cars or etc, as those people will stop buying.. bicycles are really good transport.

Im not a rajapaksha guy. But this situation will overcome with in 4-5 years. What i do if i have money buy a place and rent for others. its good money in this type of crisis

People will be unable to pay rent and etc if there’s no business livelihood etc. My friend has a shop and a few shops and a few rooms for rent and for the past 1 to 2 years everything had been closed.
