One person was killed allegedly by another person inside an apartment building at Tikkurila in Vantaa late Wednesday night, police said on Thursday.
The murder took place at about 8:00 p.m. as a sequel to a violence between the victim and the suspect.
Responding to an alarm police and rescue service people rushed to the spot and gave first aid but the victim died on the spot.
Police recovered the body of the deceased and arrested the suspect from the apartment.
Police, however, did not divulge the identities of the victim and the suspect and their relation but said that they knew each other.
Police did not disclose the detail about the incident at the initial stage of the investigation.
Police are investigating into the case as murder.
