For me this theory is possible only IF the ear injury was done by something else locally (I don't think so), not by the bullet. If video shows the bullet hits his ear clearly (I didn't see that clearly in the video), it would be safe to say this staged act theory is false. Because it is way too risky to stage this kind of act. Then why Trump acted like that? We know he doesn't really fit into the said category "Normal people with a little bit of sanity"

Yes, and look at Trump. He tried on several occasions to sell the incident; despite with the struggle of the secret service to try to evacuate him, he wanted to make the incident more dramatic.
