    No idea about any scientific data, but now they say coconut oil is safe. Perhaps the cold-press oil? But Im still reluctant to use coconut oil that is available on the market due to being highly mixed with palm oil. There are cold-press oil but it is very expensive.

    Yeah. The "virgin" coconut oil is quite expensive!
    I was talking more about the claim that blendering increases the cholesterol level of coconut milk.

    yeah, don't know exactly. Not sure whether there's any scientific evidence but I don't think there was scientific evidence for the previous claim of 'not good for cholesterol' either.
