When one survivor talks differently, we tend to accept it as the truth because we like to hear it. Why would one person's speech nullify a long held belief? E.g. if you are listening to 100 people, first 99 say bad deeds, the last one says good deed, does it mean the final answer is good deed because the last person's answer was good (out of 100)? Rhetorical question!
