Agree but my point was you can most likely never fully recover, regardless of what treatment you get, so what's the point of such a substandard life?

In Aus, there's a scheme called NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), which supposed to cost $1 billion per week, to the Taxpayers but I've seen participants cared by support workers from our background, who cannot even eat by themselves.

Our body was never designed to take such a big impact, externally or internally, without breaking - imagine how a stroke/ heart attack happens

Also when you grow very old, your body starts giving up, to enable dying, so to let a new human being take your place. When you grow very old, you could end up getting, Dementia, which means you won't even recognise your own family, so what's the point of lengthening the life, at a huge cost to the Taxpayers?

It’s easy to make judgments from the outside, but people facing serious illness often find meaning, strength, and connection in ways we can't imagine. Life doesn’t stop being valuable just because it’s hard and every person deserves the right to choose how they live, not be told when to give up.
