when you attach the compressed (zip rar or wotever) file to the mail client, it may not check it. but when the receiver downloads it, if he has a good anti-virus program it may get detected. if it does not get detected while the file in in zip/rar format, it will definitely be detected once he extracts it. the receiver must be having a really crappy virus gaurd if that dsnt happen :D

best way to destroy a computer is to write your own e.g. batch file... but why waste time and destroy someone's computer?

you mean Kaspersky? Only if they find malicious script in it isn't it? I can write my own customized code that can do some silly things like deleting some important files on your computer and I doubt it will be recgnized by a guard.

and ofcourse its not a virus it wud be just a silly script that deletes important files

If I want to be more sure, I will probably convert it into an exe :D

bro if you write a batch file to delete or rename a file, it's a simple DoS command, there is no virus signature in it. virus is a program that infects a host multiple times with the tendency to spread. a simple set of dos commands isn't a virus

so it won't be identified as a virus. but ya it might be true that modern AVs are intelligent enough to identify batch script or any other scripts when they try to access/modify/delete other files. So they may ask for the user permissions first. That is possible.

agreed. many years ago i tried experimenting with binding an exe with another attractive exe like a game. just for experiment and not to harm anyone's computer.

yeah i guess the modern AVs know better. havn't tried with them though so not sure. i don't know whether you can still fool the AV's to make it think that it's the user who is executing this set of DoS commands, given that the user has logged in as Admin.

anyone who wants to try these things for fun and to learn, it's okay to try. but don't go doing stupid things like trying to destroy others computers :oo: it's stupid really. anunge computer winasa koranna ochchara marenna epa.

but if u r learning programming and who want to try these stuff coz u r curious. i don't see any prob in that. just hookup a virtual machine and try em. install the latest AV and if you success to fool the AV in some way let us know too :D that'll be somthing to hear abt!

    Cheers
