300mb i dnt think so how to give bandwidth like that..
internal network can be 300mb that's in between sl..internet is the world wide web and who can provide a backbone of 300mb per user??300mb would be the local network..(its like 7.2mbps max on hsdpa and 300mb max on 4g)
and they said that they are stating the project few months back..
if they give per user 300mb they would have to charge like 1lak coz they have to buy bandwidth from usa and sell it to us..
any ways lets wait and see.. even for a dedicated server they sell 100mbps how to give 300??

no.. no... bro i didnt mean that...
its the tower speed...
so instead of 14.4mb current speed it ll be some where around 326mb...
they ll limit the individual speed to certain level...

Launching 4G will only increase the data rate between subscribers and operator. But It does not increase data rate between operator and internet service provider. So we will not get a benefit of access that much of speed. Ex: Even 3.5G is 7.5Mbps we are getting lower speed. With those speeds they also putting a bandwidth limit also. So imagine how much poor our telecommunication operators. The only thing that making a benefit to subscribers, increasing channel capacity between Sri Lanka and world. Then they will be able to provide actual data rate of 7.5Mbps for HSDPA and 100Mbps is for LTE (4G).

If I am right ITU(international telecommunication Union)has specified 4G data speeds as 100mbps for downlink and 30mbps for uplink. 300mbps is still under research.

yep but i think coz of the faster local network speeds we can make a sl server then downloads from that server would be extremely faster coz its hosted on the same network..
so that means we can sharefiles in between sl users in no time..Thats cool..
one person can download a torrent and share it over the local network..it would be maxa and fast..

well in usa they give max 50mbps as i know Verizon FiOS Internet
    http://www22.verizon.com/Residential/Fiosinternet/

well the have 300mbps + upto 1gbps..but thats for usa customers and if u have a server only....and no idea for 4g technology...
i dnt think we can get a connection like that coz the fiber optical cable lines are not cheep..
if we think of binging a bandwith like that we must bring it from aussie coz they now have the 2nd largest servers and submarine cables after usa..and nearest to Asia..:)

ya it would be the speed of the tower speed witch also means the speed of the local network..
that means the users can share files who are in the same network in higher speeds ..than they download from the Internet (WWW)

    max theoretical download limit is 7.2Mbps... :rofl::rofl: :P :P

that would be the internet speed that means the speed witch we can connected to servers out side sl...The WWW.... the local network in sl would be faster than 7.2mbps ...

example take a 4port router and use slt adsl home package
and will say thare are 4users who use the net from the same router and they share a file ..
its more faster like 10mbps+ thats coz of the local network.. ...but the internet speed is 512kbps..
    its some thing like that

you always try to condem it...
    its very poor quality...
    and your points are baseless...
and this 300 mb plus speed will come this year in us and our small sri lanka:):):):):)
isnt that a happy news for all??? we all can fight to reduse the rental later...

i dont think so. even if they give 1gbps they wont give unlimited because when you give unlimited like airtel or dialog the speed reduces after a while.

no friend they can give unlimited 1mb even now....
their network and international band width is totally different from dialog or airtel.... but sadly they go for maximum profit..
and when they become 4G they can give unlimited definitely...
then one tower can handle even 500 users with 1 mb without any issue:):):):):)
