eventhough its damn hard to find a tamil who dont dream about eelam (almost all tamils i have spoken to has this eelam concept deep in their mind, the only thing that makes some tamils terrorist is they show what they feel), but there could be atleast one person who has the ability to think about this land as OUR mother land. so all tamils are not terrorist. thats true...

Ok, maybe large part of the Tamil population might support the idea of a somewhat independent Tamil state deep down, but I don't think they are willing to go as far as an Eelam , certainly not under LTTE leadership..(those two ideas are different). And I also don't think they support LTTE's terror tactics or their way of going about "liberating Tamils". Most of them know the true nature of the LTTE; and that even if LTTE got an Eeelam, it is not going to be a haven for Tamils.

they maybe dont like the way praba used to rule the north. But they still want an independent land for tamils. LTTE supporters are supporting praba just because they too want an indipendant land, not because they are interested in the way praba is ruling the north. killing their own kind to achieve what he want. I've seen some lot of them cheering when india plays agaisnt sl in cricket. its a hard thing for them to make their mind to cheer for the lankan team. thats their nature. All they want is their independent land, only praba could be dreaming about his own land.

they are not ready to think about themsellf as sri lankans. eventhough we are ready to accept them as sri lankans. i have seen when tamils are selling houses in wellawatta area, they are always searching for tamils buyers.. they are not ready to sell them for sinhaleese. eventhough currency that they are getting is same. tamil's independent land concept is still there
