as far as i know you cant replace the display in laptops in sri lanka( dont know most of the vendors dont do it)... anyway ill talk to u regarding this.. wish if i can help you

Tell me did u use that paper that Laptop manufacturer provided u to place between display and keyboard , everytime u close it ???

machan, this seems colour patch of the display.if it is HP, don't worry u can replace it from srilanka service partners. u can goto Informatics,DMS or E-wis. they are the authorised service partners for repairing notebooks.

its not a big problem as i can see... use it for while till you find some bucks to repair...

What exacly is the problem ? That bright white patch on the bottom left corner ??

What did you do ? Did you try to clean the LCD with some strong cleaning liquid ? Looks like a layer of it was burnt off..

Replacing the LCD of a laptop is very expensive because you have to find the exact same LCD panel. Sinnce yours is a Fujitsu Amilo (not a very popular model) finding a replacement could be difficult.

I did not use any thing to clean

Seems to be you know more about the those things machang How long can I use this in tis situation

I donot mind colour pathes(monawa karannada) I just want to wait till I get a job
