have you seen that old one?

Watched Inglorious Bastards (1978) today. Its a low budget action comedy war movie, in the same vein as The Dirty Dozen (orginal 1968 movie).
The high light of the movie is scene at the stream with the bunch of full nude women ;)
The plot is some what original but too many cliches and the low budgetness shows clearly with same scenes repeating and even supposed to be dead bodies seen moving! Also the Germans seems to well advanced in the motorbike production as they have Trail bikes (dirt track bikes) in 1944!
Also its easy to see that they blow up toy trains!!

hope Taruntino's movie is a better production than this one.

Just finished watching Ponyo on the cliff by the sea

I watched the Original version with English subs. Once again Miyazaki shows us why he's the master of animation in this beautifully hand drawn animation.
The awards it has won including the best anime for 2008 is enough to prove its worth but if even that's not enough, remember that on its US release a couple of weeks back, it knocked GI Joe to 2nd place at the box office and that's only Disney's English dubbed version.

    Woot! an anime fan!
    Hi 5 my dear! :)

Yeah Miyazaki is The Sense of anime. Of his works, my personal favorite is Nausicaa of the Valley of the winds. Absolutely brilliant movie.
Of Studio Ghibli works, my favorite is not a Miyazaki movie. That remains Grave of the fireflies by Isao Takahata.
