So I read all the links that were on the first page. Tragically, I'm not sold. Except, that Allah is a megalomaniac:
And I did not Create the jinn and humans except they should worship Me.
[Noble Quran 51:56]
Lets, leave that minor issue aside and look at the main themes of the pro-Allah argument.
1) Firstly, there is the claim that complexity does not occur without agency:
"Another example is have them consider what might happen if a tornado came through a junkyard and tore through the old cars; would it leave behind a nice new Mercedes with the engine running and no parts left around? Naturally not."
this argument is weak for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, a Mercedes Benz is not necessarily what we call a well organized structure. From a purely physicist perspective a mercedes has same organization as bull shit. Secondly, we do see the spontaneous autonomous organization of matter in nature. A good example would be the spontaneous creation of Bernard Cells, if you don't trust me wiki it. Neuron firing sequences would also be another good example. Trust me, there are a billion counter examples. Even if you throw both these arguments aside and say Allah has to be the 'mover', this further complicates the matter by bringing in Allah who for some unfathomable reason is an exception to the 'agency rule'. For the stupid people, this means 'how the hell did Allah get there in the first place?'
2) This nicely brings us to the Eternal Allah.
He always has existed and He never was created, as He is not like His creation, nor similar to it, in any way.
I'm willing to accept the eternal Allah if you can accept that there is a tea pot orbiting Mars or unicorns or triple cunted hookers. Furthermore, if we were accept time as non reversible, maybe that is a bad choice of words but what the heck, then Godel's incompleteness theorem says that we cannot positively describe the 'first cause' using our logic. What all that mumbo jumbo means is that you can't describe god in logically consistent language.
I also feel that alot of people have to resort to an eternal agent because they don't understand how time works. There is no reason to believe that future events can't affect the past. Infact there is a solution to the Wheeler-deWitt equation that shows that the universe can spontaneously create itself from a future instance of it. Again, feel free to wiki this stuff.
3) This also falsely says that Allah is omnipotent, omniscient, and omni-good.
..Allah accepts the repentance of whom He wills. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
[Noble Quran 9:15]
Allah cannot be omniscient or omnipotent, because that would violate the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Which states that we cannot know everything about a physical system. Quantum mechanics requires some parameters to remain imprecise.
Finally, if Allah is benevolent he must have been something like this during WWII.
Quod Erat Demonstrandum.
